Leadership Positions

Collectively, there are 5 positions in every park that make up the “Monarchy.” These are the elected officials that do certain jobs for the park in order to help the park run smoothly. Individual parks may choose to create additional positions within their park to assist the Monarchy but they are not official positions.

Monarch

This is possibly the first person you meet at the park. Their number 1 job is to talk with new people, and explain the game in it’s most basic forms to mundane passerbys. Also included in their job is creating a schedule of events for the land during their reign, being a universal fill in for other missing members of monarchy, handing out awards for things done well and lastly, being one of the 2 of 3 that are required to remove someone from the club.

Regent

This individual is supposed to teach and promote the Arts and Sciences in our land, and is responsible for holding 2 events during their reign. As a rule, they are knowledgeable in a large number of fields of work, and they are also allowed to hand out awards that have to do with Arts and Sciences.

Champion

Arguably the most important position in monarchy, it is this persons job to run battlegames and do safety checks on weapons. If they do their job well, people have fun, fight and all is well. If they do not, boredom sets in, and stagnation happens. They are responsible for running at least one specific tournament, at the end of their reign.

Prime Minister

This is the other position often considered most important. This person controls the records for the land, handles the financial aspect of the group, collects dues, pays costs for materials, and is one of the 2 of 3 required to remove someone from the club.

Guildmaster of Reeves

This person has 3 real jobs. Teach others the rules and test their knowledge to help them become reeves themselves, assist the Champion in carrying out weapon checks, and to be the last of the 2 of 3 required to remove someone from the club.
